oops ......

I type fairly fluently .. but I do have serious problems with my neck
and my right pinky tends to let me down once in a while ...  Sorry.

the infamous signal 9 or something .. huh?

I think that wmaker's logic is to write back his in-core config upon
exit .. the problem is that on rare occasions wmaker does not exit
gracefully (very rare .. it's usually when X dies underneath it) and
either he writes garbage .. or dies in the middle of rewriting his
config files .. with rather (un)predictable results .. speculation ..
I've never found the time to learn wmaker properly .. from the inside
that is.

Pity the wmaker mailing list passed away .. 

If you feel adventurous one day (and haven't done so already..) you
might want to take a look at GNUstep ..  If nothing else, it helps put
the macwindows gui into perspective.
