Ich hab' jetzt eine normale ext3 Partition für /boot genommen und dann ließ sich GRUB problemlos installieren. Das Problem lag also wohl wirklich daran, dass GRUB das SoftRAID beim Booten noch nicht erkennt. Danke für eure Hilfe! Christoph
