Re: xorg + nvidia (el no va mes en sadisme)

hubble <hubble@telefonica.net>:

A veure si m'aclaro:

Jo també m'estic liant.

glxinfo | grep OpenGL
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa Project
OpenGL renderer string: Software Rasterizer
OpenGL version string: 1.4 (2.1 Mesa 7.11)
OpenGL extensions:

el gallium no surt per enlloc.

Serà cosa del kernel?

Prova a forçar la càrrega del nouveau al xorg.conf posant-hi quelcom així:

Section "Device"
       Identifier "Default Device"
       Driver "nouveau"
       Option "DRI" "on"
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA" # EXA should fit most cases.
Option "EXAVSync" "on" # EXAVSync is explained above.
Option "DMAForXv" "on" # Forced option in order to enable Xv overlay. Option "ScalerWidth" "2048" # That should fix some very rare bugs. Option "EnablePageFlip" "on" # It will not be enabled on R5xx cards. Option "RenderAccel" "on" # Optional. It should be enabled by default.
Option "AccelDFS" "on" #Optional. See the man page.

EndSection

Section "Screen"
	Identifier "Default Screen"
	DefaultDepth 24
	Option	"ForceGallium" "True"
EndSection

O tal vegada quelcom més senzill, com ara simplement:

Section "Device"
	Identifier "Default screen"
	Option "ForceGallium" "True"
EndSection

La sortida que hauries d'obtindre hauria de ser quelcom així:

$ glxinfo | grep OpenGL
OpenGL vendor string: nouveau
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on NV30
OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.10
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20

i hauries d'arribar a + de 4000 frames.
