Ben, the Debian Kernels aren't patched with future versions of the
kernel. So again: If you want the newest alsa drivers (including the
"patch") you have to install alsa-source-1.0.20 from sid/testing,
linux-headers-2.6.26 and run
'm-a update && m-a prepare && m-a m-i alsa'
from within /usr/src. The best solution would be to install
2.6.30 which includes the 1.0.20 alsa-drivers.
