I think mv'ing the directory on alioth and updating the name in our
.mrconfig should be enough.
This will leave the old repo checked out on our own machines but I
think we have no machinery for this ... Or is there something in dpt
to find repos that are not in .mrconfig? Or have I just used a shell
one-liner posted by someone in the past?

That's an interesting aspect, I don't think I've ever seen such a
pull-me-in dependency versioned :)
