Why not... many of them have sympathy for free software, although on the
desktop I see mostly fedorea and on the workstations I have to endure a
CENTOS based on RHEL 3 under a ja_JP.eucJP default environment (to my
great despair).
[Actually, I realise that something that could be very useful would be
that apt-get or aptitude would support a --root=rep option, because the
way we use those servers is that we install the software we need in our
home directories — disk space is measured in terabytes there.]
Coming back to the DDTP, I have injected the french and german
translations from the http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-med/microbio
page ; these were the only available. Note that for the german there is
no title available, so there is still a bit of work to do.
We have another package-rich page,
http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-med/imaging . It has translations in
french, italian, german and swedish. I am willing to do the same work
for it. Do you think that it would make sense to add swedish to our
summary on Alioth ?
Have a nice day,
