I never said that G2D was perfect. But it is good enough for unstable.

What gives work to ftpmasters is adding new packages to the distribution
(you know *2 for example...) and removing them a few week later. Uploading
existing packages to t-p-u gives no work to ftpmasters.

(Actually someone has to move packages from t-p-u to testing, but the
plan is to make it automatic as soon as we know how to handle that
properly)

Unfortunately, you're not the only one involved in that decision.

It's mainly Christian's decision ... when people will have "file-roller"
for G1.4 installed and that G2D is otherwise installed, we'll have *real*
problems ...
