The expression, "Birds of a feather flock together", translates
loosely as:
«ngưu tầm ngưu, mã tầm mã»
but it's not appropriate for people.
I'd be inclined to translate those sessions as:
«Nói chuyện thân thiện»
talking in a friendly, welcoming way. So it would be NCTT for us. ;)
