PS: Not always removing the software is needed, sometimes disabling it
should be ok too, e.g. by not starting a daemon.

If we only would remove the symptom, then we wouldn't improve Linux user
space. We only could fix a bug by knowing the bug. Just manipulating the
hardware is not a good way. The easiest way perhaps is to compare the
running services and software versions from a Suse install, that doesn't
cause this issue, with the Debian install.

My 2 Cents and there's no need to follow my advice.

FWIW the OP should add a bug report, without knowing what does cause the
problem or better with knowing the reason for the trouble, but at least
it should be reported.
