Estou acompanhando a discussão sobre top e bottom post e vi que estão
atribuindo o costume do top posting ao Outlook, mas percebi que o
evolution e kmail usam top post por default. Vou ver onde posso mudar
para bottom posting no kmail e no evolution. Tenho a impressão que o
mozilla-mail vem configurado para top posting por default tb.
Toquei nesse assunto porque algumas vezes tenho tido problemas quando
mando emails para clientes outlook, ou quando no trabalho tenho que
receber emails no evolution que em mandei para mim mesmo pelo evolution.
Tenho me irritado com esses problemas da mesma forma que me irrito com
frequencia com os produtos da Microsoft, em especial porque ela não
segue os padrões (web, java, html etc tudo fora do padrão)
Mas não adianta muita coisa existir um padrão que apenas a minoria dos
usuários o segue. Como nós usuários de desktop linux ainda somos
minoria, se seguimos os padrões (que a microsoft não segue) acabamos
ficando fora do padrão determinado pelo mercado. Quando isso acontece,
ou o padrão perde não é mais justificável (se a maioria não segue o
padrão, ele não é mais respeitado).
Assim posto nós, usuários de linux e seguidores dos padrões ISO, IEEE,
W3C etc ficamos numa encruzilhada:
Ou viramos puristas e continuamos fieis ao nosso credo reclamando do que
a maioria faz, ou nos adaptamos ao que a maioria faz e deixamos de lado
o padrão.
Espero que um dia sejamos maioria, mas até lá fico nesse dilema, reclamo
do jeito microsoft ou me adequo ao jeito da maioria.
