/boot in LVM (was: Soft-RAID1 und der Fehlerfall)

Genau - wo ist das Problem?

Auch ich verwende für /boot eine kleine ~100 MB ext2 (!)
Partition. Als eine ganz normale, primäre Partition, /dev/sda1.

Viel simpler kann es nicht werden. /boot werde ich auch vermutlich
niemals vergrössern wollen und Snapshots von /boot brauche ich
auch nicht.

Welchen Vorteil würde denn ein /boot in LVM bringen?

Gerade für die /boot Partition sollte es IMO so simpel wie nur
irgend möglich bleiben.
