I tried this on the same G5 with mostly the same results. I've archived /var/log/* and /etc/yaboot conf here: http://ftp.extensis.com/ppc/logs/ I will give a quick try on a G4 next so if you see additional files with today's date/time stamp then that is what they're from. -Gary
