Ah, okay. So you still see the problem when you install bind9 again?
i.e. it's not related to the problem I mentioned above?
The problem comes and goes with resp. installing and removing bind9.
So, I don' t think its related to the problem you mentioned.
I used ctrl-c to interfere. I don' t know which process exactly I
aborted, just eth0 was , after being brought up by dhclient, brought
down again. Booting continued and this is what kept hanging:
root 1108 1 0 13:55
? 00:00:00 /bin/bash
/etc/resolvconf/update.d/bind -a eth0
root 1125 1108 0 13:55
? 00:00:00 /bin/sh
/etc/init.d/bind9 reload
root 1126 1125 0 13:55 ? 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/rndc reload
root 1127 1126 0 13:55 ? 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/rndc reload
root 1128 1127 0 13:55 ? 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/rndc reload
root 1129 1127 0 13:55 ? 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/rndc reload
rndc also keeps hanging when called from rc6.d. Starting/stopping bind9
by calling from /etc/init.d 'manually' works without a problem...
