Debian live with a newer kernel?

   Okay.  I figured this out.  It knows it's running on an amd64  
machine, and was trying to build an amd64 liveCD, with the requested  
686 kernel, which didn't work.  :-)

   Running make-live -p standard -k 686 -a i386 fixed that right  
up.  :-)
