Debian live with a newer kernel?

   Thanks much.  Trent's comment about why it wasn't continuing the  
boot will let me do it the way I started to, if I want to continue  
that way.  It looks like looking into what I can do with live-helper  
is the right "next step," though.  As it happens, I'm building this  
ISO on an Ubuntu (6.06.1 LTS) system.  Does live-helper want you to  
be taking things off of the local system?

   I'll dive into live-helper, read some docs, and see where the blow  
description from Daniel takes me.
