Debian live with a newer kernel?

default builds on i386 will still remain on linux-image-*-486 since this
is the default kernel for the i386 architecture.

however, you can easily create your own live cd with live-helper, and
set LIVE_LINUX_FLAVOUR to 686, or 686-bigmem or whatever matches your
hardware best.
