Fine.

Sure. I hope you don't mind that I CC the list. IMHO everybody else
has a right to deserve how it might work.
On the contrary!

I attach a first translation attempt, i.e the tasks/admin file. I found
some inconsistencies between the svn file checked out && the blends web
page, I tried to adapt the translation to the web page, although I also
included some software not listed anymore, just in case (i.e.: virtualaw)

Would you please upload it to the proper page?

Well, this is a missunderstanding. The translations are *not* done
in the tasks files - there is actually no infrastructure at all to
do translations *there*. The tasks files contain just the information
which package has to be included and than my scripts draw the information
out of the package descriptions. *If* there is a translated package
description, then the tasks page will use it.

The advantage of this procedure is you will have the translations
at one shot at all places, like synaptic, apt-cache etc. So your
goal should be to translate each single package description in the
so called Debian Description Translation Project (DDTP) and you
find the links to it on the right side of each package header on the
tasks pages (saying "Translate Description"). You will be leaded
to a web form (not really cute - but it works) and I would like you
to insert your translation there. It is not that I would not be
willing to copy your text into the web form - btut there was some
font encoding problem and I'm afraid I might screw things up.

Please note: The Links to the DDTP project are only available for
packages in the main Debian distribution (green entries on the
tasks pages). There is no infrastructure to edit yellow or red
entries available and I do not plan to do so for the near future
because it would add a complex piece of code for less use (= not
yet included packages of Debian are not that useful finally).

BTW, I've found that the link at the top of the debian-lex alioth page
leads to a non-existent place (../projects/lex), and that there is a
../projects/debian-lex page, which was created by Jeremy Malcolm, is it
possible to merge them?

I just fixed the link - many thanks for the hint.

Kind regards

      Andreas.
