Yes it's OK and it means your card is working and recognised
I believe ! type cardctl --help for more info.
If you're client on a local TCP network type :
ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.x (your ip) netmask 255.255.255.0
Then : route add default gw 192.168.0.1 (the server...)
Add this at the end of your /etc/init.d/rc

type "modprobe xirc2ps_cs" but it seems to be allready loaded as ifconfig
finds eth0
