I get:

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:10:A4:B8:5C:61
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
      RX packets:65 errors:1 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
      TX packets:50 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
      Collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
      Interrop:11 Base address:0x400

Is that ok?

I get a lot of "/lib/modules/2.2.19pre17/pcmcia/*", but nothing about
drivers. Is that good or bad?

I have the "/lib/modules/2.2.19pre17/pcmcia/xirc2ps_cs.o" which should
be my card.

Do I still have to recompile the kernel?

I will give this a go in debian-users too :)
