Have been busy today with another Debian user to try and fix his system. He ran a Gnome1.4 Sid desktop, and got gnome-terminal2 while updating some time ago. And trust me that wasn't a pretty sight. For some or another reason the anti-aliasing messed up the font display in the gnome-terminal2 menubar. After about an hour of fiddling we decided to try upgrading to Gnome2, which helped this problem, but not other font problems (ie the Gnome-splash-screen, and gnome-calc). Jeroen
