Ditto (eight or nine months, I think). Actually, I'm kind of glad it
took me a long time, because I spent that time building up experience
and credibility with other developers to the point where a number of
people were keen to get me accepted.
I'd almost certainly have been happier to get my account earlier (and
certainly I sent a few mails at the time bemoaning the situation,
although I tried to keep them private for the most part), but in the
long run I think this way worked out better.
