currently, it is very broken, because cdebconf is being restructured.
I am working on fixing it as I write.

We do have the complete, minimal chain from boot to installation on
i386 only.  The design and structure is mostly ready, but much of the
code is just a skeleton, which needs to be filled in.

The part remaining for it to begin being usable is partitioning
stuff.

Also, tighter integration with debconf and base-config is needed.
Support for other arches is needed.  fixing the cdebconf slang
frontend might be needed.  anna needs to support Release files,
hopefully signed ones (which implies that we need a way to verify the
signature -> gpgv-udeb or something like that).  more i18n work is
needed, including switching to utf8 frontends or something.  docs are
needed.
