Why don't you tell everyone who sends you the extra copies that you'd
like to "opt-out" of their mailing service?
They're only trying to be helpful by ensuring that you are aware of the
valuable resource and asset to the project that their emails are. It
doesn't really matter if the email is irrelevant to you personally.
