Just as a note - my evil workaround to this is to always suspend to
disk (hibernate) instead of suspending to RAM.   That'll not break (or
even fix, if you suspended to RAM earlier) PCMCIA.

This is one of those bugs I keep meaning to prod at but can't get a
handle on...
