Literate Programming.

Hi,

This is a bit off-topic.
I'm working on a library (libans) with an economics/finance flavour.
I want to have the documentation and code together rather than separate..
(Knuth's literate programming idea)
Since the library is mathematical, the documentation has to be TeX, there's
no doubt about that.

I've been looking at various alternatives such as cweb, noweb etc.
Does anyone know how its done, whats the best tool for the job ?
Are there any approaches using XML, DocBook, MathML  etc ?
