Point taken. That implies you are not interested in development, it
seems.

I am still interested in your elaborating more about your needs, but
frankly that weakens my interest: I am less interested in designing a
blend _for_ you than _with_ you.

Whatever you do, some of it might be inspirational for others - pure or
not, Debian or not.

Not sure if you meant something more than that.

Sorry, I lost you here - What point are you trying to make?

Thanks.

Actual code is not interesting to me (but thanks anyway for sharing!),
because it is not that easy maintainable IMO.

Debian is a living thing - it transforms over time. A Debian Blend is a
subset of Debian, and therefore also a living thing, needing
maintenance.

If your need is a one-off snapshot of a subset of a single release of
Debian, then Debian Blends is not your thing.

That said, you might still find use of some of the tools us interested
in Debian Blends use - but you might very well find them too complex for
your needs - I can see how a plain shell script executing debootstrap
can be ideal for one-off snapshots.
