Actual code is not interesting to me (but thanks anyway for sharing!), because it is not that easy maintainable IMO. Debian is a living thing - it transforms over time. A Debian Blend is a subset of Debian, and therefore also a living thing, needing maintenance. If your need is a one-off snapshot of a subset of a single release of Debian, then Debian Blends is not your thing. That said, you might still find use of some of the tools us interested in Debian Blends use - but you might very well find them too complex for your needs - I can see how a plain shell script executing debootstrap can be ideal for one-off snapshots.
