I was in a similar position until I actually tried to use some KDE
applications about two months ago. :-) Now I'm more satisfied with
Konqueror than I was with Mozilla and its derivates and Kicker satisfies
my needs better than gkrellm or GNOME panel.  There are some other nice
KDE applications I use too, like Kopete, AmaroK and KStars.  Generally,
it seems to me that KDE applications are more user (not idiot) friendly
than the GNOME ones and there is the DCOP thing, which comes handy
sometimes.

Well, this has not much to do with accessibility, just suggesting it
might be worth to try KDE once it becomes accessible.
