Oooooh, interesting. Thanks a lot for testing this. Now I know that there
is something wrong with my Aranym setup. Although it still strikes me as
odd that it worked with an older chroot. Maybe the kernel I am using
is buggy or too old (3.16.4). Either way, we know that it works which
is great!

That is way beyond the problematic section, so we're good!

No, thanks. You tested the relevant part so that's all we need.

Andreas is using a quite old kernel last time I talked to him. He
said, he's running 3.2 something but he may have been updated
in the mean time.

No, it's definitely not a problem with the firebird3.0 package,
it affects firebird2.5 as well and openjdk-8, too.

Btw, could you try building openjdk-8 as well?

$ dget -u http://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/main/o/openjdk-8/openjdk-8_8u131-b11-2.dsc
$ apt-get build-dep openjdk-8
$ cd openjdk-8_...
$ ./debian/rules binary-arch

Yeah. My Aranym setup must be hosed some how. Thanks for testing!

Done.

PS: Do you have a setup guide for qemu-system-m68k with networking
    which we could put up on the Debian wiki?
