Hmm. Maybe another module fails to load, leading to modules listed after it in
the Modules Section not being loaded either. If you don't find anything
obvious in the log (grep '(EE)' /var/log/XFree86.0.log), please send it to me
privately.

Probably a buggy driver. Try removing the ones you don't need from
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/ .

Besides extmod, nothing is really critical.
