I see, you're probably in a small minority, so more likelihood of
finding bugs. I've only ever produced Gerber files to send away to PCB
production houses, which I think is what nearly all users do.

Yes, they are very active and will usually have a quick turnround. I've
had some minor issues which were sorted out by direct email with
developers.
