There are things to like and things not to like, like any distro.

It's a rolling release, you always have the latest kernel, firefox etc..

[dislike]
when you boot the live system (installer, if you can call it that) you
have network access and can download and install your base system. When
you boot your new system you don't (at least I don't) and you have to
tweak it yourself. Easy enough to do but it's likely different than
what you have and you will need to read up on how to get it going. Hard
to do if you don't have another machine.

I use debian myself but just like to look around at other distros when
I have the time.
