Then perhaps you should've made it clear that that's what you meant.
But this is beside the point.

I've had mutt configured and working as I said it could.  Why on earth
would I waste my time trawling the archives for the words of someone who
quite clearly doesn't know what he's talking about?

So, let's see.  You say mutt can't keep _incoming_ mail separate.
I say it can and post a config that demonstrates that it can but,
you ignore it.

Now you say that it can't keep _outgoing_ mail separate.  I can see
where this is heading.

Why would you _use_ mutt many times over the years if it's as bad as you
say?

You may have written extensively about mutt but it would've been better
if you had got yourself a clue about it before doing so.

No need for luck, thank you.  My config works just fine.

But I did sort of take your earlier advice and searched for your posts
on a few lists and forums.  Prior to that I would've been prepared
to accept that your belligerence was because you've had a bad day.
Now I _know_ that you are habitually belligerent.
