xprint used to (up to at least a few months ago) cause "extra"
printers to show up in the print dialog in FIrefox. IIRC, these extra
printer didn't actually work properly, but were forced to be the
default. One had to manually select your cups printers to get decent
output.  At some point many of us figured out that you could just
remove  xprint to get rid of the extra printers and get the firefox
printing to behave as expected. Perhaps, as a work-around this fairly
broken behavior, the just downgraded it from depends to suggests? I
suppose I could read the changelogs...
