Thanks. That helped. Turns out the hal was setting the key
storage.automount_enabled_hint == false for my ide-cd and dvd, so
g-v-m was not doing anything with either.
I would like if I could eject the cd with the button, and have gvm
unmount; do you think it's possible?
Now I just have to figure out my usb memory stick. g-v-m reports:
