Mmmh, must be something with your configuration. I get a view like this
for threads:
Subject
+->
| +->
| +->
+->
Looking quickly through the mutt docs I dont find anything that could
be causing the "no tree view"-problem. Maybe you have a newer version
of mutt than I do (1.3.28i).
