With all due respect, this is in theory. In practice, GWB (or those
behind him) did take the country to war, the Congress merely ratified
and made legal the decision. I would ask to read if posible "The art of
contrary thinking", by Humphrey B. Neill, a writer who by the way, did
some work in this type of thinking as it relates to the stock market
(this book is an example). There are a few statements there, related to
mass psychology and propaganda, that might surprise by their striking
resemblance with certain events, as well as patterns of behaviour.
