GNU emacs.  Previously with, oh, version 18, IIRC, [home] took me to
the top of the file and [end] took me to the bottom.  Certainly now
with version 21 [home] takes me to the beginning of line and [end]
takes me to end of line.  I can't say more exactly which versions in
between did which.

BTW...  I have adapted my use of those keys instead of redefining
them, which would be easy to do too.  I leave them as I find them.
Actually, it just confirmed the need to stay on the main home row
keys.  M-< and M-> work more reliably.
