Falls Du allerdings debconf auf Priorität "critical" gesetzt hast, ist nicht zu erwarten, dass Du diese Fragen bekommst ... falls jedoch in der jeweiligen postinst kein Aufruf von update-alternatives vorgesehen ist, wäre das eine Verletzung der Policy und einen bug-report wert (check das doch mal) BTW: "die bei Debian" sind Du und ich und auch alle anderen, die debian einsetzen, bzw. verwenden (und evtl. noch ein paar mehr).
