Ja. snd_* ist _immer_ alsa. Was sagt dpkg -l | grep alsa?

alsa-base sollte man AFAIK schon installieren wenn man Alsa benutzen
will. Ich vermute jetzt mal dein esd nutzt die von Alsa bereitgestellte
OSS-Schnittstelle, vllt. ruft das die Probleme hervor...
