Begründung ist auch hier, dass die Kunden in der Regel ein Mischsystem
fahren (Stable/Backport oder Sarge) und daher im Testcenter keine
definierten Kundensysteme aufgesetzt werden können.

Die SuSE $USER Backporten genauso...
Bei Suse (und allen anderen Distris mit definierten Releaszyklen) ist das in
Arbeitsumgebungen nicht unbedingt nötig. Deshalb wird Support für Suse/RedHat etc.
in der aktuellen Version geliefert. Aus Sicht von z.B. Oracle findet man aber in
der realen Welt keine Woody-only Server, da die Anwender aufgrund der völlig
veralteten Software zu Backports gezwungen sind.
