Aviplay avifile (divx)

Bonjour la liste,
mon avifile a depuis passé en version sid et depuis ce tps là je n'ai
plus de son ... pourtant avec aviplay cela fonctionnait à merveille.
un dpkg -l | grep ii | grep avi me donne :

ii  avifile-mad-pl 0.7.3.20020419 MAD - MPEG audio plugin
ii  avifile-mjpeg- 0.7.3.20020419 MJPEG video plugin
ii  avifile-player 0.7.3.20020419 Video player for AVI/ASF/WMF files

Je cherche donc a comprendre pourquoi je n'ai plus de son...
