I am aware of this and I am sorry, if my question caused any confusion
about that.

I thought I could ask, since I felt that my doubt was *not* about LaTeX
itself, but rather on which *Debian* package could provide a certain
functionality, in place of the *Debian* package scalable-cyrfonts-tex
(which I will have to remove).
I apologize, if this wasn't clear enough.
