I wasn't aware that updmap --enable changes updmap.cfg. I thought it
would only enable it for the current run.
Okay, I agree that we should get rid of update-updmap post sarge. And
the manpage of updmap should make this clearer ("*Permanently*
--enable maptype mapfile
- Add or enable a Map or MixedMap.
+ Permanently add or enable a Map or MixedMap
