http://lintian.debian.org/reports/mteTeX_maintainers.html#tetex_extra

Has some more; most of them are not bugs.

Since tetex-extra depends on tetex-bin which in turn depends on
tetex-base, adding a dependency of tetex-extra on tetex-base would serve
no purpose than to make lintian happy.

What is a real bug is that tetex-doc doesn't have it's own directory in
/usr/share/doc, but just a symlink, without depending on tetex-base.

I don't like to add such a dependency. Neither generally (because it may
make sense to install the doc package on a different machine than the
TeX input files, e.g. in a place where people write documents for LaTeX
that are to be submitted to a computing server for generation of output
files.

I'll try to give tetex-doc it's own doc directory.

Sidenote for post-sarge: Shouldn't we move the scripts used for browsing
documentation to the tetex-doc package, especially texdoc, but maybe
also texdoctk and those ConTeXt tools? This would make a lot of sense in
a setup as the one described above.

Regards, Frank
