... sorry for quoting myself, but I forgot to give the main reason why
moving it to the tasks page is hard if the information about the references
is "hidden" in source or binary package: To generate the tasks page you
need a common place to access the information and unpacking single packages
is no option for this. While I regard all the suggestions here to keep
the information inside the package I just want to bring this into your
mind. So we have to set some prefereces where the information is needed
more - and I think it is probably not on the tasks pages. So your arguing
is fine, but does not really fit the subject.
