No, there isn't any lilo or lilo.conf for powerpc, AFAIK. If neither
of those, then you must be using BootX? Just type it into the boot
arguments box.

For the two .conf files you mentioned, the syntax is 

append="keyboard_sends_linux_keycodes=1"

in the image section. For quik and yaboot, you can also type out the 
additional boot argument after the image name and a space. For 
example, 

boot: Linux keyboard_sends_linux_keycodes=1

That's why I referred you to the web page. It explains what the broken
equivalents are for most keys, for example halt= p]j3<F5>.
To abort the process that's running (Ctrl-c):

Hold <F6> and type m
