I had a nice experience with the USB patches for 2.2.16 kernels;
D/L'ing 50Mb's of jpegs from a digital camera is much nicer (at least,
once you realized that the particular camera I was using was treated
like a filesystem, and you just cp'd over the images :-).

I've compiled up the woody 2.4.0-test# kernels, and they've got USB,
and compiler flags for the Visor USB drivers...

(I'm currently using a Palm, so am not equip'd to experiment; I don't
think I could do w/o a PDA any more!)

best,
-tony
