Yep, I've got a Visor, and I love it. USB backups have been working, on
and off, from early Feburary if I remember right. And just recently support
for it appears to have been added to gnome-pilot. I did try it just now,
unsucessfully, but I think that's because gnome-pilot needs to be compiled
to support it. I'll try recompling it.
Aside from the Linux end of things, it's just like a palm, compatible with
most software, etc. I've only had a small problem of it randomly dying
every so often(few months). I think that has more to do with fact that the
little thing lives inside my pocket, which isn't exactly the best place for
delicate electronics. One suggestion: Don't play with the cover for the
Springboard slot. I managed to break both the plastic tabs that normall
hold it into place. So mine is taped on.
Well, after rebuilding gnome-pilot with USB visor support enabled I was
able to sync my Visor multiple times(sendmail conduit was giving me trouble)
This was on 2.4.0-test5 on a UHCI controler. Trying it on the OHCI
controler seemed to complely hose gnome-pilot though. Oh well
