Hi,

just go ahead an create updated packages. Ask for a sponsor here; I'm
willing to sponsor uploads of adopted packages, especially if people
do care about the packages they do adopt.

Please don't package/adopt stuff just for the sake of it. But if you
use the packages yourself, please go ahead.

If you feel you don't want to take over all of them, you can still
prepare one-time "QA uploads" to solve some bugs and let the packages
still be QA-(non?)-maintained. The later is equally useful.
