Yep.  As I said this is nothing that would stop me from uploading the
package.

I have spotted this info as well, but this is also no reason to stop me
from uploading.

So I think the package is ready and I think it is reasonable to upload
it right now.  It might take some time to pass new queue (ftpmaster is
slower than usual in current times of freeze.)  Once the package is
available you can upgrade to new upstream that might fix the manpage
nitpicking which is perfectly right in time, IMHO.
